Andrea Mendoza is a Latina Designer born and raised in Oxnard, California. Her parents, both immigrants from Michoacán, Mexico are her biggest inspiration. Andrea received her Bachelors of Arts in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design from California State University Channel Islands.

     Andrea entered the workforce in screen printing at the age of nineteen. There her passion for screen printing kick started her dedication in the field of designing. Her work draws its inspiration from her family and Latina culture. She designs with color palettes, patterns, iconography, and symbols based off Mexican culture and Latinx culture.

     The content of her of her work gives her the ability to research, and tap into various cultures to create an expansion of designs. This gives her designs a wider perspective in concepts, typography, layouts, and color schemes.
